Opinions Please.

Hello visitors, welcome to Open Studio! It's been a fun night here drawing and painting. The work is finished, and it's time for comments and critiques. Sit back, relax and have a look.

Now that you are visitors today, I am opening up the art studio for comments. I want to know which one you like the best. Or which one you would hang in your daughter's room (or yours, or your sisters...) I am really interested, cause I just don't know myself! All opinions welcome.

1) Blue

2) Chalkboard

3) artist paper color

4) green grass

Ok. Maybe you don't like any of them, but this is open studio time, so if you don't like any, tell me, but be nice. I want to make a few more prints to match, so which ever background you like will help me to draw up more little lammies. And please...even if I have never seen you around before...pipe up! All opinions welcome.

Thanks!

... i'm a lurker coming out of the woodwork to vote for no.3 - i have a thing for yellow and simplicity so I'd definitely pick that one ;-)

I like the 2) Chalkboard, looks like the goat is following the girl to school or something. "Studios goat and a girl".. I like that.

Love your work..

I don't think you could go wrong with any of those hanging in a girl's room. If I had to pick one, after much deliberation, I would choose the fourth one. I think it is fresh and it reminds me of spring, my favourite season.

i like #4. to me it makes the most sense in the context of the rhyme - the lamb following her to school. plus, i just like it best. though really, i couldn't complain about any of them.

Oh heavens. Adorable.

I'm completely in love with the second one, with that chalkboard (!), but I think for the general public, and to make matching prints easier, I'd go with the fourth. I think it needs the grass for grounding the image.

Since I assume this is supposed to be "Mary had a little lamb that followed her to school one day", I think the chalkboard works best.

They are all beautiful, but the grass is my favorite. I was at a stake thing yesterday and the program had your name on it as a member of a women's ensemble. I kept wondering if it was really you, or just someone with your name. :)

I like the grass... then the chalkboard. Love your work! Just discovered you from print & pattern.

I like them all!

Of course they are all adorable, but I really like the fourth one with the grass the best. It just seems like you need some grass when you have little lambs.

Oh I love. I just love! Everytime I see your stuff I just drool and hope I have money for art when we finally have a baby!! :)

Personally, I'm loving that chalkboard! But I'm a teacher, so maybe I'm biased?

I would also go for the green grass. It just seems to have that little bit "extra".

I really like the plain blue and the chalkboard, but I think I like the chalkboard the best. That's the one I would choose.

I like the chalkboard and the green grass. I like a little more color for kids prints. They're all very cute though.

I love the artists' paper color -- so warm and sweet!

i love the simpleness of the blue or artist paper backgrounds. either would work on our walls, so i guess it really depends on the decor of the room.

I love. I prefer the green grass one. xoxo

Ooooh cute! I really love all of them, but I think the chalkboard is my favorite. :)

I like the chalkboard one the best. It frames the characters nicely. Though, I also like that the one with grass actually grounds the characters in a place. Is there a way to marry those two concepts?

I love the them all, I think my favorite is the last one with them standing in the grass. It seems to anchor the whole design! Like I said I believe any of them would be wonderful though! I love you getting other people's advice about your work- I should try that! As long as people are nice! Have a great Sunday!!

Hey Sarah. Cute, as always. I love green grass- then blue. The lamb is following her to school- they're on their way there. (and here are 3 uses of the word "there" for your next english lesson...)

i like the green grass one. it makes the most sense. the solid colors are nice too, but looking at the class room one i wonder "why is a lamb in the classroom" ; )
